Basketball anyone?
OK, I know it's hard to get fired up for basketball season -- especially when the coach all but wrote the season off last spring.
But SEC play begins on Saturday.
And really, you've got to watch something between now and signining day and baseball, right?
Here's my thought, LSU will be a well-coached team that might - -emphasis on might -- find a way to finish as high as third in the West. I think Mississippi State and Ole Miss are probably the two best teams in the West. Poor ol' Arkansas is down there with LSU and who knows what Alabama and Auburn will run out there.
If Trent Johnson is able to get a third-place finish out of this squad, then no one should question his ability to get the most out of this players.

I will now start to live for the day...When LSU finely get a new coach...And builds up to full strength...To collied with Nick Saban Alabama...And start fighting...Until someone dies...And our LSU fighting tigers are victorious once more.

LSU women's basketball team may be worth watching. If the 66-49 loss to AL is an indication, it will be a long, sad season for LSU men's basketball.
I'm not a big NFL fan, but it's better than LSU men's basketball team this year, esp. with the Saints.
