Saturday reaction
So, LSU fans, what will your reaction be on Saturday night in these situations:
1) If LSU goes three-and-out on the first possession?
2) If LSU keeps passing when the run is in order?
3) If LSU mismanages the clock at the end of the first half and wastes a scoring opportunity?
I ask these questions because I have a feeling this game may be as important as any championship game for Les Miles.
No, I don't think Miles is getting fired. But I do think he turned up the heat on his own coaching seat with the debacle in Oxford last week.
It will be interesting to see how LSU comes out and plays against Arkansas. A fast start and an impressive victory and Miles will have some breathing room. Another loss and he could be next year's Mark Richt.

Arkansas could beat LSU by 2 TDs, or LSU could win a close one. Mallett will get his yards. Can LSU's defense bend but not break? Will LSU's offense be able to score more points than Mallett?
Miles' [and Crowton's] seat may not be hot, but it will be more than lukewarm if Arkansas wins. LSU has way too much talent for 5 losses in '08 and 4 losses in '09. Much of the problem was waiting for a redshirt freshman QB to mature in 2 consecutive seasons ... and, of course, the '08 defensive coordinators.
Or 4) LSU tries the same fade route twice on a 2 point conversion. That is not a strong point of Jefferson's passing game. He could have made a play by rolling to his right and either hitting an open WR or running it in from 1 or 2 yards. At least they have mostly given up on the option play. Jefferson is not an option QB.
I will be interesting to see if Miles makes a mistake with Crowton a la Dinardo re: Tepper, i.e. hanging on to a struggling coordinator who doesn't seem to "get it".
LSU should not have been in the position to need a last minute, game winning drive at Ole Miss. Ditto for the Arkansas game. And they barely beat Washington and Miss. State and La Tech.
Why is the LSU tiger fans, falling for the Les Miles phony, (crazy)attempting, to sell him self, as a college football coach?
We all,by now, know the truth...Their is no argument.
It is about LSU now,not Les Miles...Fire him...Find the right coach.
