Looking ahead to 2010
Apparently, those on the national scene aren't overly impressed with the direction of the LSU football program.
NationalChamps.net has its Early Bird 2010 College Football Preview out.
And LSU fans probably won't like it.
The early poll has LSU ranked No. 21. It's the lowest I can recall seeing LSU in one of NationalChamps.net's preseason polls in years.
And making matters worse, Alabama is the preseason No. 1. Florida is preseason No. 4.

The anemic, disappointing LSU offense in '09 probably explains LSU's low ranking in '10. The hardest games will be Tenn. and Ole MIss in B.R. and at Flor., Aub., and Ark.
Please...The people running LSU have decided, to try and live with Les Miles, leading LSU for a little bit longer.
But all tiger fans know, we are in stead, suffering a slow death,buy a thousand cuts.
Barksdale said as much.

2010 may turn out better than expected w/ Gonzales leading the passing game. Hopefully he will have some insight into other aspects of LSU's offense, too, esp. what's wrong w/ the O line.
