On LSU-Oregon

LSU's recent dominance of the Pac-10 might get a bit of a challenge in the season opener next year.

Oregon has been a strong program in recent years and it will be interesting to see how LSU matches up with the Ducks.

Playing at Cowboys Stadium can't hurt recruiting in the Metroplex, although I don't know how much it will actually help.

Still, you have to figure this will be a competitive game.

If LSU starts next year like they did against UNC, they will lose to Oregon.
Miles may have to make a decision in the off season about Crowton if the offense does not improve this year. Guilbeau says he tries to be too cute and tries to do too many things, but constatnly running Ridley between the tackles is too vanilla. At least Jefferson made some good passes.

This is not a very wise move, the wise guy who think so, and who went ahead and made this happen, is playing a dangerous game of chicken, with the LSU football program.
If LSU starts losing to many football games, the tickets, and TV money, will dry up, and the LSU tigers will lose all of their glamor, and excitement..Schedule hard games, that we could very well lose, is not the wise road to go down..LSU plays enough hard games in the SEC,leave well enough alone..Boss State, proves that all a college team needs, is the W's, to keep your college football team in the big time..Loses kill.
Why treat this LSU football program, like the tigers are a college football team looking for out side help?
I was having trouble living with Les Miles, now I am having trouble with the LSU AD!

It is amazing how lost a manager of a business can become, if he or she does not really know the thing they are responsible for..The thing, in LSU case (is winning college football games),that is the thing, that makes the money..Winning!
The SEC has a lot of good football team, that LSU must play.LSU can lose playing those good SEC football team.
For a LSU AD, to go and schedule a hard game, for LSU to play also,is very dumb, and is now, a man that might get fired!
Good luck LSU tigers, because now, it look like that sheer luck is the only chance you have.Between Les Miles lack of leadership, and this new LSU AD foolishness..The LSU football program, just might get down right bad.

Oregon,Dallas, first game away from tiger stadium again.
What is this?
Who said that LSU needs more national advisement...Goof balls!
Who are these Johnny come lately guys, head coach,AD,they do not have a clue..These two men are hurting LSU,not helping.

I was looking at Les Miles give a LSU jersey, to a old Tiger lineman. and Les Miles, was simply terrible,he cant even handle a kind word to a old tiger player.
This LSU AD,head coach, do not have what it takes..LSU need new management.

Every thing now depends on the LSU QB...If Lee comes threw for LSU, the Oregon game in Dallas, might turn out OK..If LSU is still trying to play Jefferson at QB..That Oregon game, in Dallas, just might be LSU funeral, for at lease 5 years, until a new LSU head coach, builds LSU back...With a new AD also.

Well,I will tell you that I hear and read other LSU fans say what a good Ida it is for the tigers to go over to Dallas for the first game of the season,to play the Pac 10 Oregon Ducks.
I do not see it that way,if you want to make money, winning is the way, that tried and true..You start playing hard team, back to back, you will lose..Losing is bad..No one makes money losing.

Why are you so scared of losing to Oregon? I want to see LSU get out there and play some football. I don't want to see LSU become one of those teams who plays Jacksonville state every year. I want to see LSU play some good games and prove the strength of the SEC. And if you aren't for that then you aren't for LSU style football. Bc this is the way we play down here and if you want to see a team beat a bunch of cupcakes then go be a fan of ohio state. We don't need those kind of people at LSU.

If we win it makes our case stronger for national championship and BCS bowl game contention. If we lose then I guess we didn't deserve to be in the title hunt anyway so at least we can judge how good we are from the beginning. And hey, even if we do lose at least we will be one step closer to getting rid of Miles. It's a win win situation for tiger fans
