A healthy dose of skepticism

So now Les Miles says Zach Lee would have played in a mop-up role had he stayed on the team.

That may be the most honest thing Miles said during Lee's whole time at LSU. He raved about him the whole time he was in Baton Rouge. It almost got to the point where you thought MIles was trying to convince Lee to stay through the media.

The big tip off, though, was this: There were no Zach Lee stats to be found from Saturday's scrimmage. Jordan Jefferson stats, yes. Jarrett Lee stats, yes. Zach Lee stats, no so much.

What's the point? Everything a football coach says should be taken with a grain of salt and a healthy dose of skepticism.

I agree with that, what head coaches say to the media, and public, is only what they want us to hear, and know.
That OK only if you are winning,Les Miles has had some loses, the past two years now, and the LSU fans are not feeling so nice.
Wins is what matters, every thing else walks.

It'd be interesting if Jarrett Lee becomes the starting QB during the season, since J.J. was not impressive in the Spring game or the 1st scrimmage this month.

The SEC sports writers think Less of Les Miles, because they picked LSU to be fourth, in the SEC west this year.
I think that the word has floated around the college football world that LSU head coach Les Miles is not a factor in today SEC.
It is up to him now,win are lose..There is no way out now.

Second guessing football coaches is not a healthy any thing..Any dizzy drunk, can say, "Did you see that dumb play".
What else is new in the new paper business?

What is wrong with you people.. Do you guys just run around looking for reasons for Les Miles to fail?
I do not think that he is a failure, but I am starting to believe, that a bunch of men who can write words, are failing at thinking, and having common sense.

QUOTE OF THE WEEK: "Transfers are always hit or miss. The best way if you can is to get a great high school quarterback." -- Les Miles. He's crazier than we think if he's not actively looking for a QB like Mallett, Snead,
or Mustain that wants to transfer. But he's two years late. He should have been actively looking in 2008.

This coming LSU football season is a very important turn in the road for Les Miles..The LSU football fans are divided, on miles coaching talent, and do not know what to expect will happen this LSU football season.
2001 was the last year that LSU was left out of the AP top 20..Beating North Carolina is very impotent to the LSU fans, team, and Miles.

Does something that lives in the sports reporters computer, become the reason that these reporters, write made up nothing, about college football coaches and players alike?
Les Miles has been coaching LSU for the past five years, and we all know his record..Skepticism,about Miles coaching ability, is nothing more then the old wore out saw of second guessing.
And one can second guess anything.

It sounds like Jefferson and Lee, as well as the offense, have looked better in the last 2 scrimmages. I like the article re: letting Jefferson take more risks. And I like that he threw a TD to Toliver over Peterson in a recent scrimmage.
Miles wants to establish the running game, and that is necessary, but LSU has the WRs to make a team respect the passing game ... if they truly will let Jefferson air it out.
Put 8 in the box, and we will make you pay for it.

Les Miles is a goof ball..What can LSU do with that?
He can not talk, mush less coach a college football team.
LSU is paying this guy $4,000,000 dollars, for heavens sakes.
He is taking LSU for a (sad) ride, down double talk hill,we do not know what to expect next.
Buy the bum out and cut our loses.

Skepticism has turned into harrow,by the crazy coaching of Les Miles.
A river boat rolling the dice chance taking nut,a two bit gambler.
Miles suckered Skip into hiring the faker, and Saban left enough good players, and he got a good defense coach in Bo, to carve a NC championship out of 2007.
Now,with he own players, and lack of stile,Miles has embarrassed the LSU football program.
LSU is out of the AP sight, and out of the minds of serious college football people.
You know, and I know, what is going to happen,he is going to run, run, run, and the offense is going to stop, stop, stop.
Miles will walk away with a lot of ($$$money) and LSU will need to start over.
