For what it's worth

So I'm looking at The Sporting News' position rankings in college football and I notice something missing.

LSU.

Yep, the Tigers are nowhere to be found among the top five units at each position.

What's really bad is you'll find Arkansas (quarterbacks), Alabama (running backs), Georgia (wide receivers/tight ends and Georgia), Florida (offensive line and defensive backs), and Ole Miss (defensive line).

Which brings us back to the chicken and egg question. Is LSU's talent overrated locally? Or is LSU's talent underdeveloped by Les Miles and his staff?

Man, did you see the WR on this LSU football team, they are some really good looking college football players, the NFL kind.
The RB, are also very talented football players..LSU is need deep in good football talent.
If Les Miles loses with these LSU football players,it is his lack of coaching that will be the reason.
If he is worth his salt, as a head football coach,he should win most of the ball game,LSU plays, with these very talented LSU football players..This LSU football team, is not Vanderbilt.

If LSU's WRs are not in the top 5 nationally, considering Tolliver, Randle, and Shepard, then it must be player development. Hopefully Jefferson can get the ball to them this year, and Gonzales will do his job coaching.

LSU is going to be in the top 5, best college football team in the BCS,AP,poll this coming November..This is a very talented college football team, Les Miles is coaching this year.
This LSU team will be right in the fight, for the top of the mountain, right on up until the end of the 2010 football season.
This tiger is going to be big time good.

I guess, the out of state writers are not as informed as they would like us to believe...For writers who clams to be much more certificated at their job, they the in state Louisiana writers, the sporting News has drop the football.
Leaving out a college football team, that has recruited in the top part of the recruiting classes the past number of years, is not only a over sight, but a out right dumb thing to do.
Even if the sporting News writers think that Les Miles is not a good coach, they should realize, that how could LSU not win, with that kind of great college football talent.

You know what,I have never warmed up to Les Miles, from the first game.
But this LSU team, is loaded with a lot of really good football players.
The prof is in the pudding, and someone is coaching a lot of good stuff to these players.
This team is ready to play, and play well.
I think something good is going to happen.

Les Miles is a better head coach then he was at Oklahoma State,His recruiting level has been right up there with Saban,Meyer, classes over the years he has coached at LSU.
Miles is not hurting the LSU team, and it looks like to me, he has not coached all that much ether.Recruiting is very important.
I think this is going to be a very good year for LSU.
