Good news for LSU fans living outside of Louisiana - we think.
LSU and XM Radio announced today that XM would be the satellite provider for LSU starting in 2007.
LSU had been on Sirius satelitte radio. XM, though, has a larger audience. Thus, more exposure for LSU.
It's the latest in a movement of the SEC toward XM.
The exposure is great for the school and now more fans can hear such great calls as Jim Hawthorne's original Bluegrass Miracle call.
