Big baby's stock on the move

Glen "Big Baby'' Davis is said to have turned down a workout with the Minnesota Timberwolves because he is confident he will be a first-round pick next week in the NBA Draft.

The Sporting News' mock draft has Davis going to the New Jersey Nets at No. 17.

If that indeed happens, Davis should be ecstatic. There was a time - not too long ago - when he looked like a second-round pick.

Apparently Davis has shed some weight and looked good enough in workouts to bring his stock up.
