A look to the future

There is an early bird college football poll out right now. Here is the link.

Granted, these rankings don't take in to account juniors leaving early. Anybody really think Auburn is No. 6 without Cam Newton? And in LSU's case, Patrick Peterson is probably a goner.

Still, if you're an LSU fan you have to like your position. If you start at No. 3 then you usually have a shot at ending up in the top two.

The flip side is a couple of old enemies, Oklahoma and Alabama are ranked above.

So what do you think LSU fans? Would you take it? Or are you angry that Alabama is still ranked ahead of you?

Go back into time, and look at any year, at the best college football team in America...The top 10 team then, will be about the same, as the top 10 teams today...Just more up dated.
But only LSU, and a few new other team, are staying high up into the top 10, these days,or years.
Yes. this LSU 2011 team, has as good of a chance, at winning the championship, as any of the rest.

Who plays the weakest teams, will be the best way of picking the top 10 teams.
Oklahoma, does play a easy line up.
So, that does look like a safe pick.
Until the season begins to show us the best, from the rest.
That about the only way, to pick with a chance of getting it right.
You can also count on, one of the SEC top teams, to lose one or two.

The emoticons, that were bothering me, about Les Miles, has just dispersed for some reason...I am not really bothered, over any future LSU games now...What the heck!!!
Beating Alabama, made up, for a lot.
Our recruiting is look good, the new QB recruits, look good, the coaching seems to be better..What the devil,I seem to be happy.

LSU could be in the top 5 if Mettenberger pans out as hoped for.
Like the last 3 years, LSU will not be a top 10 team without a SEC caliber QB in 2011.

Does the pass, tell us the future?
I think that we can get a good picture from what the LSU football team has done, in order to wonder what the LSU team will do, in the future.
10-2 is very good..So I think, that the future of this LSU football team, is very good.
