So what to make of this season?
So LSU ends up 10-2 in the regular season and, for all intents and purposes, in third place in the SEC West behind Auburn and tied with Arkansas but losing in the tiebreaker.
On one hand, a 10-2 record is nothing to sneeze at. (They'd gladly take on in Austin or Gainesville right now.)
But a third-place finish in the West isn't quite what many fans had in mind. Granted the West was exceedingly tough this year.
So LSU fans, what do you make of the season. Does the record make it a success? Do wins over Florida and Alabama make it a success? Or does that third-place finish take some shine off the season? What say you?

I think that the LSU football program,lead by Les Miles,is better then some people feared.
The LSU fans are somewhat shell shocked from the past 3 year disappointments..No SEC QB, to work with, ECT..But now we can see the light at the end,LSU is still in good shape..Temperamental QB not with standing...Lets see if Miles get a new Offense coach..And a better QB???
Sometimes when you do,you don't..Thank God we are not playing Ohio State, again..That school makes me sick..They are always crying..Lets go to the cotton.
I'm OK with this LSU team..A little this,or that,and we are in to something big time.
Maybe a New Offense coach??
I am glad about this LSU football team,Young players, making mistakes, are nothing new.
10-2,instead of 11-1,12-0,is a close call, this year, with the number of very young players on this team.
It could have went the other way to,but these guys played good enough,not to let that happen.
I would like for Les Miles,to get a new offense coach,I think that would give everyone, a new beginning.
The LSU football fans, need to grow up...Look at the truth,and live to make your team better..All that crying, goes into nothing.
Work more closely, with Les Miles, and roll up your sleeves, to help..Do not hurt, your LSU football program...Nick Saban, did not care, all that much now, did he??
Miles, kicked Nicks Saban teeth in, this year..Be grateful,and pull together.
LSU has some very go football players..Help,do not hurt.
10-2 is acceptable, considering the inconsistent and usually non-SEC caliber QB and WR performances. I'm glad LSU beat FL and AL. The barely wins vs. mediocre TN and Ole MIss teams tells you how very glad we should be to be 10-2.
I think that you sports writers, are very bad boys..You can write like holy hell..Only to put the screws, to someone who is not skilled at writing.
Les Miles is not skilled, at writing, or talking..But the LSU football players really like him..That does not change the reality, that young men make mistakes.
Les Miles is good enough.
Beating Nick Saban was the high water point, in my college football season this year..I still feel good about that, and Les Miles is doing OK with me...I think every thing is going to be OK now.
I do not want to fire Les Miles any longer,but I do, want Les Miles to fire that bad offense coach "Crowton"

Wow I'm glad this "anonymous" commenter finally got everything straight. You've been so anti-miles all year and now he has finally proven you wrong and now you suddenly like him. Make up your mind. Grow up and quit being a bandwagon fan. It's about time you realize miles is actually worth something. You've got to be one of the worst LSU fans in the world
10 wins and a chance at a 11 win season is a great year especially with all the young talent!the future is bright for the fightin tigers!
