Gary Danielson on LSU
If you thought LSU's defense has been great and the offense -- particuarly at quarterback -- was not so great, then you are not alone.
CBS' Gary Danielson was talking LSU football today. His network carries the LSU-Tennessee game on Saturday.
Here is what Danielson had to say about the Tigers.
"I see the best defense I've seen there in three or four years. They've really got it going. They have athletes all over the field. They run extremely. They will match up with anybody defensively in the country. They will give Florida all they can handle. They will match up against Alabama. They are a dominating defense, as good as their national championship teams. If they get any kind of quarterback play, and I've been saying this for two years ...they need just a little bit. If they had a manager of their offense similar to (Alabama's) Greg McElroy, he doesn't have to be that good, just similar, this would be a national championship-contending team.''

Yes,it is becoming painfully clear that this talented football team,is going to lose 4 or 5 football game when the SEC comes into town..Because of of a head coach bad judgment,very sad.

It's obvious to LSU fans, and it's obvious to national commentators. LSU will not win the key SEC games w/o better QB play. Shame on Miles for not recruiting better QBs in his 5 years.
Shame on Guilbeau for lying to readers -- that LSU can beat the best SEC teams w/o a QB. Their defense and special teams will not win big games if the offense can't score TDs.
Do you mean to tell all the LSU fans, that Les Miles does not have a good QB to play football with this year...And that it really does not matter, if he plays Lee,or Jefferson..LSU is just simply, out of luck this year.
Three years of telling the LSU fans, that Jefferson is going to be one of the best QB to play at LSU..Now,O,no I am sorry, forget about it.

I heard Les Miles being interview on Rivals XM radio..The sports reporter, was talking to Miles as if he was a person out of touch with the real world(like a child would be out of touch with the real world because of the child age)..Miles could not even talk normal, by using simple words,forming a simple sentence,that people could understand...What did LSU do giving this nut, a 7 year extension, at a 3.75 million dollar.
Are the men running LSU stupid?
The LSU head coach told the LSU fans,"That Jefferson would be one of the best QB LSU has ever had."
The LSU fans have been looking for 3 years to see Jefferson improve..So far Jefferson has not improved enough,to matter.
Why if Jefferson has not improver in the past 3 years will Jefferson improve in the next 8 games?
Les Miles is looking very bad barking up the wrong tree,do you think he will stop?
Now he has the money,and LSU is on the hook for so much more money..Is Miles just becomeing sick over Jefferson,and Miles does not care how he coaches or looks?
I never realized that so many LSU fans really do not like LSU coach Les Miles.So it looks like
LSU has a bad give and take relationship,between the LSU football program, and the LSU football fans.
LSU is not firing Les Miles,he has 4 years left, and LSU would look very bad spending that kind of money on a fired football coach.As the LSU school has so many money trouble, keep LSU running,under the present day money crunch.
This Les Miles problem has become a very bad marriage.
Man,O Man...Some of these LSU fans, really do not like LSU head coach Les Miles...Wow!!!
